After you send the deletion request email, companies may reach out to you to further verify your identity. There are several ways for a company to do this; they may ask you to simply confirm via email, they can ask you to log in and delete your account manually, they may ask you to fill out a form, or there can be other ways to validate your request.

You may respond in any way you think is appropriate, but to make it easier for you, we've created several templates for you to use when responding to these requests. You can find them here.

There is also the option to send a "Quick reply," including prepared answers, depending on your needs. You can find this tool right next to your writing panel when interacting with a company.
